It is with sadness that the Hildebrandt family announce the passing of Alma Marie Hildebrandt (Neufeld) on Monday, June 29th, 2026, at the age of 91 years. Alma was born to Peter and Anna Neufeld on February 25th, 1935, on the farm east of Carstairs. She received her education at the nearby New Bergthal School. Her early years were spent helping local families with general housekeeping. Alma knew her future husband (Abe) from a young age, which eventually led to their marriage on May 21st, 1955. They started farming together with Abe’s father and eventually purchased their own farm, which Alma had grown up on.

She leaves to mourn her husband Abe, daughter Donna (Dan), son Brian (Dianne), daughter in-law Laurel, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, one brother (Dick), and her son Glen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bergthal Mennonite Church, Bergthal Rd Township Rd 310, Didsbury, on Monday, July 6th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Olds Seasons Encore for their compassionate care over the last few years.
