It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Allan ‘Al’ Muir Hansen on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the age of 89 years. Al was born in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan and went on to have a rewarding career with the RCMP, and then, in Oil and Gas. Al was dedicated to his faith, his family, and his friends. Al will be lovingly remembered by his children, Charlene (Dan), Brian (Val), and his grandchildren, Jestice, Shayne, Leah, Fynn, Dane and Lily. Al was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy in 2022, and his son, David Hansen in 1990, who was a member of the Calgary City Police. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 903 – 75 Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Al’s honor may be made directly to STARS at www.stars.ca, the SPCA at www.albertaspca.org or to the Salvation Army at www.salvationarmy.ca.
