In Loving Memory of
Mo Ling Wong (Chan)
April 14, 1934 – April 9, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mo Ling Wong, who left us on Thursday, April 9, 2026, just days shy of her 92nd birthday. Born on April 14, 1934, Mo Ling was a woman of immense virtue and quiet strength. She dedicated most of her life to her family, serving as our constant anchor. To those who knew her, she was the definition of kindness and generosity. Her gentle spirit and boundless love created a home filled with warmth and security. Mo Ling faced life’s challenges with a rare resilience; she rarely complained, choosing instead to meet difficulties with a smile. She shared a deep passion for culinary excellence with her late husband, Tak Ching Wong, and they were both known for their discerning appreciation of fine food. She is survived by her three sons, Sam (For Chiu), Benjamin (Kwok Fan), and Paul Wong; and her four daughters, Sarah (Suet Ying), Dora (Bing Sum), Celine (Siu Ling), and Jacqueline Wong (Yuen Ling). Her legacy continues through her seven cherished grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Tak Ching Wong. Mom, thank you for the sacrifices you made and the love you gave so freely. We are incredibly proud to be your children. Your legacy of kindness lives on in us, and you will remain in our hearts forever. Private services were held in Mo Ling’s honour. Interment has taken place at Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer County.
