Mrs. Mildred Mack passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024 at 91 years of age. Mildred was born October 2, 1933, she was the third eldest child of Bartel and Minnie Erick. She grew up on the farm. After high school, she took a job in Estevan, Saskatchewan as a bookkeeper at North American Lumber where she met Bill Mack. They were married on November 13, 1954. She raised three children, Candice, Teresa, and Dennis in a happy loving home.
Mildred was curious about everything. She loved to travel, visit family, volunteer, was a lifetime member of C.W.L. (Catholic Women’s League) was an avid baseball fan, music and dancing. Mildred especially enjoyed time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mildred will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bill, of seventy years, her daughter, Candice (Gene) Thomas, her daughter, Teresa (Kevin) Murray and her son, Dennis (Michelle) Mack. She will also be loving remembered by her grandchildren, Arron (Ashe) Thomas, Sarah Thomas (Daryle Winkworth), Adam Murray and Jolene Mack as well as her great-grandchildren, Walker and Harley Thomas and Miles Marsh. She will also be missed by her brother Jerome (Sandy), sisters-in-law Barbara Erick, Dorothy Jackson, Marie Paladeau, Mary Mack and her brother-in-law, Terry Goertz as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mildred was predeceased by her parents, brothers, George, Jimmy, Billy, Donnie and sisters, Marlene, Gail and Bonita.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, November 29, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 4304 – 49 Avenue, Innisfail, Alberta.
