Mildred ‘Millie’ Eileen Burgoyne (nee Mosher) passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the age of 91 years. She was born on September 20, 1933, at Consort, Alberta. After High School, Millie left for Windsor, Nova Scotia for her nursing degree. While there, she met her husband, Robert and they married in April of 1957. They moved back to Alberta that same summer, and she worked at the Consort Hospital. Then they moved to Innisfail, Alberta in late 1958. Millie nursed in Innisfail from 1959 to 1996, helping with all emergencies and births. That’s a lot of babies in thirty-seven years! She is lovingly remembered by her children, David (Betty) Burgoyne, Kathleen (Timothy) Bain, Theresa (Greg) Burgoyne, Allan Burgoyne, her granddaughter that she raised, Katrina, numerous other grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Millie was predeceased by her husband, Robert, in 1984 and her eldest son, Blaine, in 2022.
