1933 ~ Margaret Mary (Seemann) Wilkinson ~ 2023 "You’ve done all you can for us so now so head out camping with Dad."

It’s with heavy heart and many tears that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Margaret Mary (Seemann) Wilkinson. She was born on September 23, 1933 and passed peacefully surrounded by her family on February 03, 2023 which was also mom and dad’s 69th wedding anniversary. You’ve done all you can for us so now so head out camping with Dad.
Margaret was born in Mazenod, Saskatchewan on the family farm to Herman and Marie Seemann. She graduated from Our Lady of Sion Convent in Moose Jaw before meeting the love of her life, Fred Wilkinson. They were married on February 03, 1954 in Mazenod and moved to Trochu, Alberta where their six kids were born. In 1964, they moved to Olds where she lived until her passing.
She is survived by her six children, Elaine Veres, Larry (Nancy), Doug (Leeanne), Jim, Diane and Lynn Craven (Terry), grandchildren – Lenee & Dave Fyfe (Kesler & Brenner), Jay & Lindsey Veres (Chance & Conner), Rikki & Micaela Stone, Curtis & Liz Wilkinson (Avery, Beau, Tally), Kayla & Kris Pettis (Peyton, Paige), Dana Wilkinson (Grayson & Jaycee) Colby & Heather Wilkinson (Lincoln & Logan), Aaron Craven (Rylie & Jace), Justin & Latrasa Craven (Kingstyn) brother Joe Seeman, sister-in-laws Claudia & Laverne.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fred (1991) and her son-in-law Larry Veres (2015), parents – Herman and Marie Seemann, siblings Albert, Gerald, Theresa (Rolland Michaud), Basil (Myrna), Catherine, Mary Meacher (Bill), Carmel, Albert (Alberta), Paul (Joyce), Ed (Margaret) Leo and three foster brothers Tommy, Wally and Frankie Defosses.
Service to be held at St Stephen’s Catholic Church, Olds Alberta on February 18, 2023 at 1 p.m.
Lunch to follow at the Evergreen Centre.
