Mr. John Stange of Caroline, Alberta and of Nayarit, Mexico passed away in the Innisfail Health Care Centre, Innisfail, Alberta on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. John was born March 30, 1933, at the Innisfail Health Care Centre to parents Rudolf and Ernestine Stange of Caroline, Alberta. John was married to Mildred Mandzie and together they had a daughter Kathrine. John later married Helen Katona and together they had a daughter, Ida Stange Jorgenson, daughter, Teresa Kobbero, daughter, Brenda Houlton, and a son Tom Stange. He leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren as well as his brother, Hermann Stange, his sister Marianne Eisentraut, his sister, Elizabeth Taylor and his sister Irene Ewan. He was predeceased by three of his children, his daughter, Kathrine Mandzie Hudson, his daughter Diana Stange, and his son, Mitchell Stange. A Celebration of John’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #177, Caroline, Alberta on January 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial Donations may be made to the Caroline Museum, 60034 Hwy 54, Caroline, Alberta T0M 0M0.
