Mr. Taras ‘Terry’ Michel McRee passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side, on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the age of 93 years. Terry was born on November 21, 1931 at Kinuso, Alberta to Harry and Anna McRee. Terry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of sixty one years, Dorothy; his children, Michael (Leanne), Judy (David) and Chris (Julie); his grandchildren, Shelby, Kristyn, Danielle, Jimmy, Emma, and Kailey; his great grandchildren, Summer and Robbie; and his beloved cat, Kitty. He will also be sadly missed by his siblings, Sloco (Joan) and Sophie (Leo); his sister-in-law, Irene; numerous family members and dear friends. A Public Interment was held at the Alto Reste Cemetery on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 10:30 am. A Celebration of Terry’s Life was also held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. For those unable to attend Terry’s Celebration of Life, you may watch the livestream at www.parklandfuneralhome.com, and press the “livestream” button on the top right hand corner of webpage just prior to 1:00 pm.
