Violet (nee Faszer) Bienert went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2024 at the age of 94. She died peacefully in her sleep at the Three Hills Health Care Center. She is lovingly remembered and missed by her children and their spouses: Carolyn (Hock Seng) Khoo, Ken (Linda), Keith (Lilyane), Marianne (Earl) Dyck, and Valerie (David) Robb; 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; as well as her brothers, Walter, Herbert and Allan Faszer, sister Helen Kirsch, and brother-in-law Ray Faust and numerous other family and friends. Violet was born on March 18, 1930, in the Faszer farmhouse near Hilda, Alberta. She committed her life to serve the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age. After graduating from Prairie Bible College, she married Allan Bienert in 1953. They were married for 54 years before Allan passed away in 2007. Violet served the Lord as a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand mother. She prayed faithfully for her family that each one would love and follow Jesus wholeheartedly. Violet was active in various ministries at Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church where she and Allan were members. She was known for her generous hospitality to Prairie students, church family members, missionaries, extended family, and her children’s friends. She was passionate about missions and prayed for and gave financially to many of them. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to One Hope Canada or Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church Missions Fund, or Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF).
