Mrs. Mary Weatherly (née Johnson) was born in her parents’ farmhouse northeast of Hughenden, Alberta on April 8th,1930. She passed away peacefully at Sunset Manor in Innisfail, Alberta on August 27, 2026 and at the age of 96 years, went to be with her Lord.

Mary was predeceased by her husband George Irwin Weatherly in 1999, her daughter Sharon Patricia Boyce in 2002, her parents, Otto and Jennie Johnson, and seven siblings: Einar, Frieda (Mulyk), Bertha (Becker), Clara (Moxey), Elsie (Froland), Eino, and Fred. Mary is lovingly remembered by her brother, John Johnson, her son, Norman, his wife Valerie, and their son Joel and his wife Lauren, her granddaughter, Rachelle Boyce and great-grandson Blake, her daughter Wanda (Ed) Milner, and their daughter Vanessa (Ben), and Mary’s great-grandchildren Arissa, Shelby, Gauge, and Karson, and Ed and Wanda’s son Colt, her son Terry (Laura), and their daughter Katy (Ben), and Mary’s great-grandchildren, Theodora and Cecilia, and Terry and Laura’s sons Troy and Tyler.

Mary had an enduring faith in God; she enjoyed going to church and travelling and lived in many different places making many friends along the way. She enjoyed sewing and making beautiful quilts. She loved going through photo albums and sharing the memories associated with them.

A private family graveside service will be held. Memorial Donations in her memory can be made to Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
