FERRER, Olga
1929 – 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Olga Ann Ferrer on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the age of 95. Olga was born on May 15, 1929, in England. She was initially married to Maurice Pearl, who was in partnership with his brothers in a butcher shop in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. Sadly, Maurice passed away following a series of heart attacks. Olga then sold the business, met Luis, moved to Alberta, Canada, and started a woodworking business called Woodpeckers Woodworking. Olga was a partner in this business and worked in retail at Woodward’s. Olga was predeceased by her second husband, Luis Ferrer, on July 2, 2014, at the age of 78. She is remembered by Thomas Tatton of British Columbia, Jennifer (Tim) David of Bromstead, Nr. Newport, Shropshire, England, and many friends in Red Deer, Alberta. Olga’s long-time neighbor, Cordell, would like to thank those who visited her. May she rest in peace. There will be no services for Olga, but if desired, memorial donations in her honor may be made directly to the Catholic Parish of the Sacred Heart Church in Red Deer, at sacredheartrd.ca. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com
