Bona passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the age of 92 years. Bona was born and raised in Tompkins, Saskatchewan. In 1948 Bona married Rowland Darling in Medicine Hat and together they had eight children. She was a lover of books and could read a book in a day or two without a problem. Bona was a fantastic cook and an even better mother. She cherished her many friendships over the years. Bona will be lovingly remembered by her children; Keith, Tim (Kathy), Terry (Richard), Kim (Donna), Janet (Cliff), Barb (Kendall), Mark (Kelly), as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. We will miss her easy laugh and her sense of humour. A Celebration of Bona’s Life is tentatively planned for the family in May of 2022.
