Ruby Dorothy Pedersen (nee Gear) passed away peacefully at the age of 85 with a short and courageous battle with cancer.
Ruby is survived by her three children Carl Pedersen ( Diana), his children Ross and Sage Pedersen; Karen Seidle( George) and their children Amber ( Donovan) Ashley ( David) Megan ( Lance) and Matthew ( Morgan); Kevin Pedersen ( Monica) and their children Ava and Anders; two great grandchildren Kade and Kally; sisters in law Janice , Esther and Gail Gear and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is pre deceased by her husband Lloyd, parents Willard and Alga Gear and by her nine siblings Lester, Ruth,Helen,Flora, Harold, Richard, Garry, Leone and Roy.
Ruby was an avid volunteer with the Womens Hospital Auxiliary and contributed many hours volunteering at the Sundre Thrift Shop over the last 20 years. She enjoyed her long scenic drives looking for wild horses but enjoyed and cherished the most her time spent with all of her family.
Thanks to the nursing staff at the Sundre hospital and a special thanks to the staff at the Olds Hospice.
