Marjorie Margurette Jackson passed away at Innisfail, Alberta on Monday, April 21, 2025 at the age of 96 years. Marjorie was born in Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A to parents William Alexander Gillespie of Scotland and Maude Lavinia Gorman of Ontario, Canada. She came back to Canada as an infant when her family settled in Hamilton, Ontario. Marjorie will be lovingly remembered by her sons, William Jackson of Sherwater, British Columbia, and Kenneth Jackson of Vulcan, Alberta, her daughter, Nancy Jackle-Jackson of Innisfail, Alberta, as well as her ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Lawrence Robert Jackson, her eldest son, Laurence Robert ‘Robin’ Jackson Jr., her brother, William Alexander Gillespie, and her sisters, Mary Waymouth and Dorothy Hutton. In keeping with Marjorie’s wishes, a Funeral Service will not be held.
