In Loving Memory of Lois Louise Guitard (née Leeder)
February 20, 1927 – July 1, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lois Louise Guitard (Leeder) of Olds, Alberta, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the age of 98 years.
Lois was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, Arthur Guitard, in 1995. She was also the last surviving of five sisters: Edna Trca, Gladys Dougan, Phyllis Hammer, and Irene Harbison.
A devoted and loving mother, Lois is survived by her children Terry Guitard (Pat), Michelle Neufeld, and Richard Guitard (Jane). She will be lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Lois was born in Olds, Alberta, on February 20, 1927, and married Art in 1947. Together, they lived in Beverlodge, Alberta, later spending time in Swift Current and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, before returning to Olds in 1992.
Family was at the heart of Lois’s life, and she delighted in every visit from her loved ones. She had a deep passion for knitting, sewing, gardening, crossword puzzles, and reading—often finishing a book a day.

A Come and Go Tea to celebrate Lois’s life will be held on July 27, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at her home in The Meadows, Number 22, Olds, Alberta.
She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
