Arnold Fisher passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the age of 98 years. Arnold was born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia and resided in Red Deer, Alberta for the past 56 years. He will be remembered for the gentleman he was, his sparkling blue eyes, his great sense of humor, his contagious laugh and the special Papa he was to Jen. Arnold will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Doris, his son, Doug (Brenda), his daughter, Sandy (Don), his grandchildren, Jennifer (Keith), Catherine (Joel), Allison (Justin), great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Baron, Lucas, and Nolan, his sisters in law, Gladys, and Elaine (Doug), along with his numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to all the staff at the Northcott Care Centre, Ponoka, Alberta, for their understanding, care, and compassion during Arnold’s final journey. A Celebration of Life will be held later in the summer. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Arnold’s honor to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #35, 2810 Bremner Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4R 1M9.
