It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, mother-in-law, Grandma, and Kookum, Mrs. Agnes Sarah Johnson at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the age of 97 years. Agnes will be missed by her children: Garry (Marilyn), Micky (Elsie), Ricky, Peter (Karen), Valerie (Doug) and Penny; her grandchildren, Cara, Candace, Judd, Shane, Grant, Simon, Luke, Marcel, Melissa, Tayler, Emmett, Terry, and Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Reagan, Layne, Kayden, Talon, Ryland, Braden, Owen, Sydney, Hunter, Rowan, and Remington. She will also be sadly missed by numerous family members and dear friends. Agnes was predeceased by her by parents, Edward and Eliza (nee Smith) Jones; her husband, Bernt; and her sons, Ervin and Lloyd. A Memorial Service was held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287-67A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Agnes’s honor may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society Of Canada at www.canadahelps.org.
