Its with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Helen Carol Mallinson on May 31, 2023, at the age of 97 years. Helen was born in Strathmore, Alberta to Henry and Palma Allison on June 14, 1925. She grew up in Sun Berry Valley just west of Sundre, Alberta, where she attended her schooling there. Helen met William Mallinson and they got married shortly after. They bought a farm and settled in the area to raise their children. Helen worked aside William helping on the farm. If she wasn’t doing that, she was cooking, and decorating wedding cakes. There were many wedding cakes that were decorated with love and the sweetest art that anybody could ever wish for. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing card with her friends. Helen and William did some camping and traveling. Alaska and Arizona were some of their memorable trips. Helen is survived by her children; grand children; great great grand children and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be made directly Sundre Hospital Futures.
