Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. Ruby ‘Eileen’ Kellar (nee Layden), passed away peacefully, at Villa Marie, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the age of 96 years. She was born at her grandparents’ farm east of Innisfail Alberta, to Annie and Clarence Layden on November 6, 1924. Eileen married the love of her life, John on April 10, 1946. She had a heart and home open to all and embraced life and lived her faith. Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her children, Helen, Ron and Doris, her daughter-in-law, Cheryl, her sister-in-law, Ann (Gary), her brother-in-law, Lawrence, her eleven grandchildren and her thirteen great grandchildren. Eileen was predeceased by her husband, John, a son, Wilfred, a grandson, Kyron and all of her siblings. A Private Funeral Service be held.
