Mrs. Helen Laura McKain, known to her loved ones as Helen, passed away peacefully at Innisfail, Alberta on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at the age of 104 years. Helen was born on September 16, 1918 at High River, Alberta, to parents Isabel and Jack Leckie. Helen will be lovingly remembered by her loving son, Glenn (Elaine) McKain, her cherished grandchildren, Lynn (Rick) Lee, Leigh (Anita) McKain, Rene (Wayne) Yuskow, Trevor (Jamie) McKain, and Andre McKain. She will also be deeply missed by her daughter-in-law, Emma McKain, and her brother, Ronald Leckie. She was also blessed with numerous great and great great grandchildren. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Cecil McKain, a son, Donald McKain, a sister, Marion Thompson, and a brother, Les Leckie. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kevisville Community Church, 35377 Range Road 40, Red Deer County, Alberta, on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 1:30 p.m.
