The Red Deer North Star Chiefs are preparing for Provincials this month after winning the Sutter South Cup on home ice last weekend.

A new middle school for Penhold and high school for Sylvan Lake are part of the latest capital plan for Chinook’s Edge School Division.

On Mar. 13, District trustees approved the 2020-2023 Capital Plan in response to what officials describe as changing demographics in the community.
