One Dead, One Injured as Tour Bus Hits Group Near Banff

One person is dead and another injured after a tour bus hit two pedestrians in Banff National Park.

RCMP say initial investigation has determined that the passengers had exited the bus when it arrived at the Castle Mountain Viewpoint this morning.  

Manslaughter Charge Laid in Rollover Near Delburne

RCMP have laid a manslaughter charge in connection to a fatal rollover that happened earlier this Summer.

On August 14 around 11:30 p.m., Three Hills Mounties were alerted about a suspicious Dodge Dakota in the area of Delburne that drove onto a rural property and got stuck.

EDMONTON - Legislation aimed at making it easier for victims of family violence to leave an unsafe home is now in effect in Alberta.

Victims can end a tenancy agreement early, without financial penalty, by presenting their landlord with a certificate verifying they are at risk.
