Dec 18, 2018 | 5:25 AM

Amazon.com is opening a new 92,900-square-metre (one-million-square-foot) distribution centre in Alberta.

The facility in Leduc County, will be the online retail giant’s second distribution centre in the province, and its 11th in Canada.

Amazon says it plans to create 600 full-time jobs at the new centre by 2020.

It says workers will be responsible for picking, packing and shipping larger items such as outdoor equipment, patio furniture and bicycles.
