UPDATE: Missing 6 y/o boy located

UPDATE [5:15 p.m] — Red Deer RCMP confirm that a 6-year-old by who went missing Monday afternoon has been located.

Police say the boy, who is autistic, slipped away from his caregiver at a bus stop in Eastview at 2:30 Monday afternoon. 

He was located shortly before 5 p.m. RCMP thank the many citizens who offered assistance to police in locating him.
