IMPAIRED DRIVER, GROUND WIRE STOLEN

Drayton Valley RCMP say on July 26 at 1:15 p.m. on Highway 22 in Brazeau County a report came in of an impaired driver in a truck pulling a grey enclosed trailer, weaving all over the road.  Members attended and vehicle was stopped. Driver arrested for impaired driving. 

Just before 3 p.m. in Brazeau County a report came in of a theft of ground wire at lease site.

At 3:14 p.m. at the Riverview Cemetery in Brazeau County a complainant was going for a walk and parked their vehicle near the cemetery.  Observed 3 males attempting to break into their vehicle.  Complainant yelled at the males.

ATTEMPTED VEHICLE THEFT, TELUS LINES CUT

On July 27 just after 12 p.m. at Canadian Tire a report was received of someone attempting to steal their vehicle while parked at Canadian Tire.  Door lock on handle had been punched out.  

At 4:20 p.m. in Brazeau County a report came in of cut Telus lines and stolen cable.

ASSAULT, ITEMS STOLEN FROM YARD 

On July 28 just before 3 a.m. at 7-11 a report of an assault after two females fighting. Members attended and it was found that both parties were responsible. 

At 12:50 p.m. on 48 Avenue a report came in of stolen furniture cushions from back of residence off lawn furniture.  Cushions are blue in the back and strips with grey on front. Four cushions taken. 

TRUCK STOLEN

On July 29 at 6:48 p.m. on 50 Street a report came in of the theft of a white 2003 Ford F350 stolen overnight. 

UNLOCKED VEHICLE BROKEN INTO, THEFT OF TRUCK 

On July 30 at 11:20 a.m. at the Golf Club a report came in that an unlocked vehicle was entered and a wallet was stolen. Attempt to use credit card in Wildwood.  

At 2:43 p.m. on 54 Avenue in Lodgepole a report came in of a 2006 Chevrolet Canyon, dark blue with a canopy being stolen. Keys were inside and was last seen headed towards Brazeau Dam.

VEHICLE BROKEN INTO, STOLEN

On July 31 at 7:38 a.m. on 50 Street a report came in of a company truck being broken into, side window smashed, several items stolen. 

Just before 8 a.m. on Beckett Road a report came in of a 2017 white Toyota Prius being stolen.

At 10:19 p.m. on 52 Avenue a report came in that two youth were observed cutting down the security cameras. One in the building and one outside. Description were two males, one male wearing a balaclava and a baseball cap.  

MAN SPRAYED WITH BEAR MACE, MULTIPLE THEFTS FROM VEHICLES 

On August 1 just before 4 a.m. on 50 Avenue a member on patrol observed a male bent over by their vehicle. Male was red in the face and stated that another male had just sprayed him in the face with bear mace. Suspect was located and arrested, held for a Bail hearing.

At 7:13 a.m. on 42 Street a report came in of someone breaking into their 2007 Grand Cherokee. Wallet was stolen. Similar reports from son and neighbours in the area.  

At 8:41 a.m. on 44 Avenue a report of a theft from a truck, laptop stolen. 

At 9:00 a.m. on 41A Avenue a report of a theft from vehicle.  Two females caught on video, stole cigarettes.  

At 10:40 a.m. on 41A Avenue a report of a theft from vehicle, laptop and personal gas monitor stolen.

At 11:29 a.m. on 43 Avenue a report of a vehicle parked on street and broken into. Stolen items include a yellow/black Dewalt bag with ARC resources written on it, cordless drill, safety book and coveralls.
