1943 ~ Margaret Reddy (née Boland) ~ 2026 "Her kindness, warmth and joyful spirit will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. Everybody was safe and accepted at Mom's house, and if you came in the door, she offered a hot meal and a loaf of homemade bread. Your work is finished true and faithful servant, rest in the arms of Jesus, gentle and humble woman."

Margaret Reddy (née Boland), aged 82 of Calvert, passed away peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by her family.

Margie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Bill, who passed away in 2015, parents; Kit and France Boland, sisters; Emma and Bride, deceased members of the Boland and Reddy family and brothers-in-law; Jimmy Harvey and Hubert Goulding.

She will be loved and dearly missed by her daughter, Cathy (Kevin Huseby), sons; Bill, and Craig (Garnet Miller), grandchildren: Kendra (Patrick Furey), Bethany, Emily and Brent (Lindsey) and her great-grandchildren; Theodore and Olivia also known as Ted and Livie. Her siblings, Molly, Edna, France Terry and Rick (Brenda). Also leaving to mourn her passing are her in-laws: Ned, Reg, Anna, Linda, Leonard, Janet and Janice and families. Many special nieces and nephews, you all know who you are. The many people who came through her door and considered her family. Special cousin Ann Gushue for all her over and above help with mom and Yvonne Colbert who was so good to Mom.

Margie was a naturally giving and selfless person. Her many acts of kindness and caring throughout her community brought purpose and meaning to her life and touched the lives of many others. There are not many people on the southern shore didn’t have a run by Margie. She loved to laugh and encouraged laughter every day.

Mom has been cremated and we will be bringing her remains home during Calvert Days 2027.
