It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kari Lee Lindholm, of Red Deer, Alberta, who passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 59.
Kari was born in Calgary, Alberta, on June 23, 1967. She was a deeply caring woman who loved wholeheartedly and took great joy in treating and caring for the people she loved. She had a strong spirit and was wonderfully stubborn in the best possible way, a quality that reflected her determination, loyalty, and love for those around her.
Kari treasured the simple moments in life, especially the ones she shared with her beloved husband, Randy. She loved taking her “smile car” out for a drive with Randy, with an ice cream stop along the way whenever they could. It was in these little adventures that Kari was happiest, enjoying each other’s company and making memories together.
Above all, Kari loved being a mom to Mason and Mackenzie. They were her greatest pride and joy, and she was so incredibly proud of the people they had grown to be. She loved hearing about their lives, celebrating their accomplishments, and simply spending time with them. Kari dedicated much of her energy to her loved ones and a massive void will be felt by all whom she loved.
Kari will be lovingly remembered by her husband Randy (Randall) Lindholm, their children, Mason Lindholm (Hayley Marchant) and Mackenzie Anderson (Jayden Anderson), her mother, Betty Jean Jenkins, her sister Kelly Jenkins (Joe Callihoo) and their two children, her brother, David Jenkins (Gina Oulette), her father in law Richard Lindholm, her sister in law, Lyn Ford and her two children and grand children. Kari was pre deceased by her dad, Gary Jenkins and her mother in law Beverly Lindholm.
Kari’s caring heart, strong spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed. Her memory will live on in the people she loved and in all of the little moments that will forever remind them of her.
A Memorial Service will be held at Gaetz Memorial United Church, 4758 – 50 Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, October 2, 2026 at 1:00pm.
