Hector Marlow Elliott finished his journey here on Earth on August 28, 2026, at the age of 71 years. He is now hanging with his Lord and his family. No longer will we hear, after asking him, “How are you doing?” — “Still kickin’, not quite as high.”

Hector was born to Ken and Joy Elliott on August 5, 1955, in Calgary, Alberta. He was the youngest brother to Roy and Rocky. Hector is survived and loved by three sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and even a few great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; one uncle; two aunts; and many cousins.

Hector was a power to behold. He suffered a couple of accidents throughout his life that would have taken a normal person out, which earned him the nickname “Crash Elliott.” Due to the hand of God, he survived, which led him to have the faith he held. It obviously wasn’t his time(s).

Hector spent most of his younger years living in various places around southwestern Alberta, finally settling in Westward Ho (one lot over from where he grew up). Anybody was welcome to come on over, shoot the breeze, play a game of crib, shoot a game of pool (only ended by a called four banker), or likely … all three.

A Memorial for Hector will be held at Harmattan Hall, 32408 Range Rd 40, Harmattan, Alberta on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.

All are certainly welcome to come say howdy and “see me” one last time.
