More than a clinic: Reform Health + Wellness redefines patient care

Sep 12, 2026 | 10:00 AM

Reform Health + Wellness is your one-stop shop in Red Deer for multidisciplinary health care.

You name it: Chiropractic care, registered massage therapy, psychology and counselling services — they’ve got it.

They even offer acupuncture and dry needling, as well as shockwave therapy for appropriate musculoskeletal conditions.

Oh, and they have support dog Wilson.

It’s all possible due to the passion of power couple Dr. Seth Means and Dr. Courtney Means, who recently moved back to Red Deer with a goal in mind: to help people.

“We built Reform Health + Wellness around the idea that health care works best when great providers from different disciplines work together, says Dr. Seth Means.

“Our goal is to create a team of practitioners with different backgrounds, skills, and areas of expertise who can collaborate when appropriate and provide patients with more coordinated care. At the same time, we want each practitioner to have the freedom to provide individualized care rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.”

Courtney, who is from Red Deer, and Seth — from Gillette, Wyoming — previously built a similar clinic in West Kelowna, B.C. (Okanagan Integrative Health), which remains in operation.

Their goal, Seth says, is to offer the same model to Red Deerians and others living in central Alberta.

“Pain, injury and physical limitations can affect much more than just one area of the body. They can influence a person’s ability to work, exercise, sleep, participate in hobbies, spend time with their family and maintain their independence,” Seth says of what makes their services so crucial to people’s overall health.

“Likewise, mental health can have a significant impact on a person’s overall quality of life. We also strongly believe in active care. Treatment should not simply be about providing temporary relief — whenever possible, we want to give patients the education, tools and confidence to take an active role in their own health.”

Doctors Seth and Courtney Means are both chiropractors, educated at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, where they each earned their Doctor of Chiropractic degrees.

Courtney carries an additional Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Western States.
