‘One Swing for Three Causes’ doles out $23,000
Organizers with the ‘One Swing for Three Causes’ recently made their official cheque presentation to a trio of very deserving agencies.
The annual golf tournament was held earlier this summer at River Bend in Red Deer, with more than $23,000 raised for Bridges Community Living, the Red Deer Food Bank, and Youth HQ.
It was all put together by the Central Alberta Breakfast Club.
“We are incredibly grateful for the $6,300 raised through the One Swing for Three Causes golf tournament. That gift alone will allow us to provide a dairy product to 1,200 households in our community,” said Christina Sturgeon, Senior Social Impact Officer, Red Deer Food Bank.
