Red Deer’s Eileen Park to compete in CPKC Women’s Open

Red Deer’s Eileen Park has earned an exemption into the CPKC Women’s Open.

She, along with 13 other players, including 10 from Team Canada, earned exemptions into the prestigious tournament set for August 19-23 at the Royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton.

Park will compete against some of the brightest stars in women’s professional golf, including defending champion Brooke Henderson. Henderson is one of the most accomplished Canadian golfers in the game.

According to the CPKC Women’s Open website, the multi-day tournament is hosted by Golf Canada and is a Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour event.
