It is with deep sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Mr. William “Bill” Carlise Eagle at home on July 10, 2026, at the age of 77 Years.
Bill was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario in 1948 to Ralph and Ethel Eagle. He had a sister, Jayline, who passed away in 1973. His father, Ralph, passed away in 1975 and Bill took on the responsibility of the family at the age of twenty-seven.
Bill worked as a heavy-duty mechanic in Schefferville, Quebec. He later moved with his family to Grande Cache, Alberta, where he worked for McIntyre Mines and Smoky River Coal. The family then relocated to Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia. Finally, Bill worked in Fort McMurry until his retirement in 2014.
Bill was a wonderful brother, who was kind, caring and very witty. He loved his family and was a favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews. His presence will be missed by all who knew him.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Kelly Eagle of Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia; and by his sisters, Randy Oddy of Innisfail, Alberta, and Bessie Knee of Fort McMurray, Alberta.
Bill was Predeceased bu his mother, Ethel, in 1998; his father, Ralph in 1975; his sister Jayline, in 1973; and his brothers, David and Joseph Eagle
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
