Richard John Fehr passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the age of 51 years. Richard was born on January 4, 1975, in Burnaby, British Columbia, to Bruce and Shirley Fehr. He was raised primarily in Grand Forks, British Columbia, where he developed a lifelong love of the outdoors. His father taught him a variety of trades, which led Richard to become a self-employed private contractor. Always eager to learn, he also taught himself computer technology and provided private IT services alongside his construction business. Richard enjoyed spending time camping, fishing, and snowmobiling. He also had a remarkable green thumb and found great satisfaction in caring for his plants and tending his garden. Richard will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Tristin (Joel) Gerlywich and Senia Fehr, as well as numerous family members and dear friends. A Memorial Service was held at Liberty Christian Assembly, 1B 6315 Horn Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor George Bradley officiating.
