It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Braden Keith Seifried at the University of Alberta Hospital on June 13, 2026 while surrounded by family and friends.
Braden was born and raised in Innisfail, and from a young age he was very interested in sports, having all his friends around him and having a great time. Football and cheering the Bronco’s on was first on his list, he even played football in middle school. He played hockey, and helped coach hockey, he played soccer, loved golfing, biking, and loved hiking and outdoor adventures. His slowpitch team Slidin and Profilin joined SOP in 2022, which Braden loved every minute, he was player and cheerleader and kept the team on their A game. Braden started working at Masterfeed’s in Red Deer at a young age, eventually moving to Red Deer, but still stayed close with all his friends in Innisfail and area.
Braden came from a very large family, his father, Larry had twelve siblings, and his mother Karen had one sibling. Braden was the youngest grandchild of the late Gramma Alma Seifried and Grampa Adolf Seifried and was the third grandchild of gramma Elsie Lee and the late grampa Bob Lee.
Braden is lovingly remembered by his parents, Larry and Karen, his sister, Candis (Devin) Riches, nieces, Cali and Kaci, his brother, Ryan (Leah) Seifried and his nephew Charlie. He will also be missed by his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was especially close to his Uncle Doug, Auntie Bonnie and his cousins Kristen (Caden), Brooklyn (Avery), and Dallas and Jaret. He will also be lovingly remembered by the many great friends and family that were dear to him.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June, 18, 2026 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Brayden’s life will be held at the Innisfail Alliance Church on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
The family asks that you consider donating blood and or become an organ donor.
