Mrs. Lyla Virginia Byers of Penhold, Alberta passed away at the Innisfail Health Care Centre, Innisfail, Alberta on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at the age of 92 years. She was born on March 27, 1934 in Victoria Harbour, Ontario. Lyla met Fraser in Ontario in 1976 and they moved west to Alberta settling in Penhold. Lyla will be lovingly remembered by her spouse of 50 years, Fraser Brown, Penhold, Alberta as well as her extended family and many friends. In keeping with Lyla’s wishes no funeral services will be held. Memorial Donations in Lyla’s name may be made to a charity of choice.
