Ponoka RCMP charge two males following rural break and enter
Two Ponoka men are facing charges after a break-in at a rural lease site last month.
On May 13, 2026, shortly before 1:30 p.m., Ponoka RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter at a rural lease site in Ponoka County.
According to Mounties, the complainant reported locating a truck in the lease site with two males inside.
Police say the complainant noticed copper wire had been cut from the lease site. RCMP say the complainant locked the gate to prevent the suspects from leaving; however, the suspects are alleged to have cut through the fence and drove away.
