GARCIA, Ma Shella

1976 – 2026

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Ma Shella Garcia, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, on Sunday, April 26, 2027, at the age of 50 years.

Born in the Philippines on April 11, 1976, she built a wonderful life dedicated to serving the vulnerable sector, balancing her career with unwavering devotion to her family.

Shella was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, and cherished friend. She was a soulmate and a steady source of strength, bringing endless joy, warmth, and laughter into the lives of those around her. She taught the true meaning of love and partnership through her kindness, resilience, and selfless care for others.

Above all, she was a dedicated mother who always had an open-door policy, a listening ear, and the best advice. Her love created a home where everyone felt welcomed, supported, and deeply cared for. Her strength, compassion, and beautiful spirit will live on in all who knew and loved her.

She leaves behind her loving husband of twenty-three years, Benjon; her children, Airuhn and his wife Stephanie, Ashly, and Alex; her grandchildren, Amelia and Maverick; and her beloved siblings, Edgardo, Joana, Gerald, Grace, and Edwin. She was predeceased by her daughter, Christine; her parents, Eduardo and Zenaida; and her sister, Cathlene.

A Celebration of Shella’s Life will be held at Park Vale Pioneer Lodge, 4324 – 46A Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.  Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com
