Water service repair ongoing in Lacombe

Water service repair is going on in Lacombe today.

The City reported a water break this morning at the corner of Opal Close and Hanging Stone Drive, just west of the airport.

“Early assessment indicates that a water service line has separated from the water main, directly affecting two properties and reducing water pressure for a small number of nearby residences,” the city states in a release.

“City crews are on site and working to repair the break as quickly and safely as possible. Repairs are expected to be completed today, with full water service restored shortly afterward.”
