Remembering Brookelyn Olivia Bettileigh Metzger-McKenzie

August 30, 1994 ~ May 3, 2026

It is with profound sadness and shattered hearts that we announce the passing of Brookelyn Olivia Bettileigh Metzger-McKenzie on May 3rd, 2026. Brooke was a woman who would give you her whole heart and then some. She cared deeply for others and was profoundly loved and cherished by all who knew her. Brookelyn was a beacon of selflessness, a devoted mother, loving sister, and a loyal friend whose absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

Predeceased by her mother, Cheryl; survived by her light and joy, her daughter Blaire (Rory), her sisters, Keya (John) and Lesley (Brent), adored nieces and nephews Taylor, Anna, Liz, Bergen, and Saige, and her father, Doug (Sandra). She also leaves behind her many dear and cherished friends and not to be forgotten, fur babies Rue and Baz.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #104, 5108 – 49 Avenue, Innisfail, Alberta on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
