SHANNON, Alice

1935 – 2026

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our dear mother, Alice Shannon on April 23, 2026 at her home at Sunset Manor at the age of 90 years. She spent her life farming in the Kevisville area and was very involved in the church and the community.

She absolutely loved life, family and always up for new adventures. She is survived by her four children, Don Shannon, Laura Shannon (Ken Brink), Lois (Leo) Houle and Anita Hinkle, her five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Alice was predeceased by her husband, Howard of forty-three years, her sister, Shirley Rodgers, her son-in-law, Ernie Hinkle, granddaughter, Nicole Houle and special mention to Ivan Fedoruc.

The family would like to thank the staff of Sunset Manor for taking such wonderful care of our mother in her final years.

A Funeral Service was held at the Kevisville Community Church on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., interment to followed at the Kevisville Cemetery.
