It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Shamus Kyle Reimer, who left this world too soon on Friday, April 17, 2026, in Didsbury at the age of 52 years. Shamus was born on June 5, 1973, in Regina, Saskatchewan. Shamus worked for Imperial Oil as a Red Seal welder and heavy equipment operator. He was incredibly talented and took great pride in his work, with a true passion for fabricating and welding. He will be remembered for his strength, his generous heart, and his deep love for his family. Shamus had a natural sense of humor and a gift for making others laugh. He carried a smile through life’s challenges and brought joy to those around him.

He loved his Chevy Camaro and his need for speed reflected his adventurous spirit. Above all, he shared a special bond with his granddaughter, Braelynn, who brought him immense happiness. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Tina; his mother, Donna; his father, Doug; his son, Brandon; and his stepsons, Shale, Chance, and Braden. He is also survived by his brothers, Brent and Cameron (Satri); his nieces, Sienna and Liya; his nephew, Kieran; and his cherished granddaughter, Braelynn.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Gordon and Margaret Mitchell, and Peter and Patricia Reimer.

Shamus will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
