It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Beth Ellen Tripp, who passed away on April 10, 2026, in Lacombe Palliative Care.
Beth was predeceased by her loving husband, Bryan Tripp, as well as her beloved grandsons Shawn Steinhauer, Stan Jr. L’Hirondelle and Shayden L’Hirondelle.
Beth was raised on the family farm in the Tees/Mirror area, where she learned the values of hard work, kindness, and caring for others. She spent many of her working years in Fort McMurray before moving back to Sylvan Lake in 1998. In more recent years, she made her home in Lacombe. After returning from Fort McMurray, Beth spent many years working at Uncle Ben’s, and until recently, she continued working part-time with Fibrenew. Her strong work ethic and dedication stayed with her throughout her life.
Beth was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 48 years and thought of its members as extended family. She will be remembered for her generous heart and her deep commitment to helping others. Over the years, she dedicated herself to giving back through charitable organizations such as the Canadian Liver Disease Foundation, and many others close to her heart.
Above all, Beth was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, family member, and friend. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Amy L’Hirondelle; son-in-law, Stan L’Hirondelle; grandchildren, Stanella, Candice (Ignacio), Isaac, Sheldon, and Hudson; and great-grand children, Brooke, Roman and Enzo. She is also lovingly remembered by her son, Scott Tripp; daughter-in-law, Armi Tripp; and grandchildren, William and Elleana Tripp.
Beth will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her strength, compassion, generosity, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Tee’s Community Hall, Railway Ave, Tees, AB T0C 2N0, on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
