It is with profound sorrow that we announce the radiant spirit of Ella Pennock returning home to eternal bliss on April 1, 2026, at the age of 89 years. Ella leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished by her devoted husband Wilf, their bond spanning over seventy beautiful years. Their family, rich in love, includes her son, Richard William ‘Bill’ (Leda) of Fredricton, New Brunswick, her grandson Kevin (Amanda) and great-granddaughters, Ainslie and Emery of Bedford, Nova Scotia, grandson, Richard of Fredricton, New Brunswick, her daughter, Connie Sue Pennock of Innisfail, Alberta, her granddaughter, Misty-Dawn (Blaine) Leismeister and great-grandsons Carter and Caster of Golden Prairie, Saskatchewan, grandson Sean (Kellie) Elliott. great-granddaughter, Brooklynn, and great-grandson Lochlann of Edmonton. Ella is also survived by her three brothers, Bill (Ailen), Larry (Denise), and Ted Walls of Red Deer, her two sisters, Donna (John) Vanderand of Penticton British Columbia, Dorthy (Lavern) Ellingson of Oliver British Columbia, along with numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family. Ella was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Ida Walls along with seven brothers, and two sisters. Ella lived for her family, a life filled with baking, wedding cakes for everyone and Grandma Ella care packages of buns and cookies for the road trip home, and all the special meals for her family. Prior to retiring she worked at Red Deer Nursing Home, where her compassion in caring for elderly shone through, spare time loved giving hand at resorts and at the General Store at Pine Lake. May her memory inspire love and unity among us.
