Wasanne Saby (Kolotyluk), passed away on April 4, 2026 at the age of 95. Born in Smoky Lake, Alberta, Wasanne ‘Baba’ was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, teacher and friend. Her joys were simple but deeply felt, tending her garden, going for walks and making sure everyone was well fed.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Chester, sons David and Brian, and sister Margaret. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

She is survived by her sons Donald and Gordon, grandchildren Jason, Jon, Julie and Michael, great-granddaughters Dylann, Bret, Madison and Riley, siblings Sylvia and Ken, as well as extended family who will forever cherish the countless moments she made special.
