Corey Allan Kjorsvik
April 2 1963 – March 1 2026

It is with heavy hearts; we announce that Corey Kjorsvik entered rest on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at the
age of 62 years in Calgary, Alberta. He is survived by his mother Sharon Kjorsvik, Neice Samantha Doucet (Mike), Nephew Dylan Doucet (Brittany) and brother-in-law Michael Doucet. Corey is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles. Corey was predeceased by his father Allan Kjorsvik, sister Shelly Doucet, cousins Karen Hindes, Tarak Kjorsvik Osterhout, Dan Jorsvik, his beloved dog Fred and numerous aunts and uncles. Corey was born in Drumheller, but grew up in Peace River, Calgary and Olds where he spent most of his life. Corey spent much of his time in his early years driving trucks and working on various rigs giving him the opportunity to travel all around the world with highlights in Nagoya Japan and the Beaufort Sea. Corey was a proud and devoted Uncle never missing any band concerts, or life events for Samantha and Dylan. Corey spent much of his time working with the ALS Society of Alberta where he helped chair a support group for others who were affected by Kennedys disease. Corey will be remembered for his outgoing personality, perseverance, optimism and his dedication to his friends and family that he loved with his entire heart. Coreys passion for everything he did and his determination to be a better person everyday will never be forgotten. Corey was a beloved Son, Uncle, Brother, Cousin and friend to so many, making a positive impact on the lives of countless people. Corey may be gone from our sights, but he will never leave our hearts. Life’s a Journey, not a destination.
