Resilient Rebels come from behind again to beat Raiders
The Red Deer Rebels have had a knack lately for showing up in the biggest moments.
Just four days ago, they knocked off the CHL’s second-ranked Prince Albert Raiders, and on Saturday, they did it again, beating the Eastern Conference-leading Raiders 3-1 at the Centrium.
In front of 4,831 fans, Red Deer scored three unanswered goals in a playoff-like atmosphere to hold on to eighth place in the Eastern Conference with just six games remaining.
Head coach Marc Habscheid said it was a hard-fought game.
