Blackfalds RCMP investigating armed robbery on March 6

Blackfalds RCMP are investigating a robbery which they say took place the morning of March 6.

At about 6:49, RCMP received a report of a robbery at the Chevron gas station on Vista Trail in Blackfalds.

Investigation revealed that two masked men in winter clothing, and one carrying what appeared to be a handgun, entered the store and stole cash and cigarettes.

They were last seen crossing Vista Trail and are believed to have gotten into a vehicle.

• Wearing heavy winter clothing and leather work gloves.

While RCMP investigate, residents are asked to check their video surveillance, doorbell and dash cameras for the suspects.
