Mrs. Shirley Irene Bagg formerly of Olds, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Mountain View Seniors Lodge Sundre, Alberta on Monday, February 16, 2026 at the age of 94 years.
Shirley was born April 13, 1931 in the Kitchener Waterloo District of Ontario and was the eldest child of Herbert and Lucy Meyer. Shirley met Fred Bagg in Ontario and together they moved to Olds, Alberta in the early 1950’s. Shirley was a long-term resident of Olds, and was known for her baking, she liked to spend her time reading and knitting and loved watching television, especially the Oilers games.
Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joanne (Dick) Rogerson, Leslie Bagg, Archie (Lorna) Bagg, Janie (John) Fisher, Keith (Shelly) Bagg and one sister Gail Kotalak.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband Fred, daughter Kathleen, and son Garrett, her brother and two sisters.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Mountain View Seniors Lodge, Sundre, Alberta for their support and loving care while Shirley was living there.
