Leslie Roy Nielsen of Sylvan Lake, Alberta passed away peacefully at his home on February 4, 2026, at the age of 73 years.

Leslie will be lovingly remembered by his spouse, Karen Nielsen; his three sons and two daughters; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as his three brothers and two sisters.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 212, 4916 50 Avenue, Sylvan Lake, Alberta, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Condolences to Leslie’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net.
