Lee Toy of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the age of 74 years.
Lee was born in Kwangtung, China, and emigrated with his parents to Canada when he was six years old. Growing up in Lacombe and Red Deer, Lee graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and later became a teacher in mathematics and physics.
Lee is lovingly remembered by his younger siblings, Art (Yvonne), Patty (Kevin), Gordon, and Debbie; and by his nephews and nieces: Ryan (Laurin), Rachel (Bryce), Jason (Daniela), and Janine.
Lee is predeceased by his parents, Bill and Mary. In accordance with Lee’s wishes, a funeral service will not be held.
